6 years ago. Save. Hi, I agree with Tongo, I think my choice would also be Riva. Torbole is a lot smaller but, because of the many wind-surfing schools, it seems busier around the lakefront. Riva also has wind-surfing schools but the lakefront area is much longer so never feels as busy.
The northern shore of Lake Garda is also an olive-growing region – near Riva del Garda you’ll find 46° Parallelo, the northernmost olive oil producer in the world! Omkafe near Arco is a wonderful local coffee roastery, and another great place to get presents for wine-loving friends.
