That should get rid of at least 8 to 16 ounces of oil, I believe. If your mechanic just dumped in all 6 quarts, then you might need to do that a number of times.
Toturn off the oil light you do turn on but not start engine, pump accel pedal 3x in 10 seconds, turn off, the restart engine. Took me five tries, the fifth time I pressed on the top part of the accel pedal and it worked. If it doesn’t work try a code reader.
Whenchanging the Oil and Filter, I use 5.5 Quarts (5.204 Liters) - so I know I am safely in the operating range. If after 4-5 days the Infotainment oil level isn't reading FULL, I start by adding small amounts of oil - i.e. 95 ml and then watch the level for 5 days before adding another 95 ml (maximum).
