I am utilizing a Jira Issue Collector where users can submit issues as tasks. Once a task is created on the board, I aim to automate the following process: Convert the newly created task into a sub-task. Move this sub-task under a specific story on the board. I'm seeking a way to create an automation rule in Jira to accomplish this.
You can convert local or global checklist items to Jira issues, or to subtasks within the current issue. If you are converting items to issues, you can do so by converting the items either individually or in bulk. Converting a single issue opens the Create Issue dialog, while converting issues in bulk opens a special Convert items to issues dialog.
